Uganda pt. 2

Another lot of shots from Uganda. Again, all taken on a point and shoot.

I absolutely love the above shot. Even though it's a normal everyday activity, it's just so colourful and full of life.

This little lad below had just had a little fall, and his gracious friend came to the rescue to make it all better.

The picture above, again, is one of my favourites. Even though you can't see much of her face, there's still so much emotion in it. This little girl was absolutely beautiful. She couldn't speak any english, but she sure took a fancy to me, calling me 'her' mzungu (meaning 'white person'), and holding my hand and not letting go.

Uganda

In 2009 I went to Uganda for 6 months. These faces and scenes are what I see as the true essence of the country and it's people. These images aren't only pictures, they're moments and memories. Ones that I hold very dear to my heart.

These were all taken on a point and shoot so the quality isn't the greatest. Still, the pictures speak for themselves, and I'm really happy with how they've turned out.
So enjoy, and bear with me, because you'll probably see many more of these posted up over the next few weeks or months.
